An Infidel’s God

An Infidel’s God

(Ascription to Michael “Dexter” Hall)

Virtues akin to vices
Stronger has their set of laws
Weaker has their share of exclusive punishments
I won because I strike my opponent first
Before judges could start the bout
When I see my victims
Searching for my next move
I forget my inner dark passenger
And, I myself, change into Dark Angel
Bowing to only Lord –
Red Blood running in veins
I am the creator of red hue
I am the owner of the ‘Slice of Life’
To cut my iffier connection to Homo sapiens’ ewe
I must endear the exalting job of blood spattering
