Satan Sleeping in the Year of Snake

Satan Sleeping in the Year of Snake

Pleading to Angel to burn your sins;
To listen to your soul’s recently unearthed melody;
To banish your frightening nightmares;
But Amazon has lost keenness to exhale oxygen.

My desire to worship the Omnipotent was rejected;
My outburst of ‘I’m You’ was seen as the tipping point
Towards an epidemic of insanity in Heavens.

I created fire to make water happy,
Then, I forgot to kneel before Adam
So he can thrive on a rock.

When Pharaoh’s priests wanted the severed head of an unborn child,
I executed an innocent murderer;
When he needed to raise him
I guised the horrific answer in his insomniac dreams.

I told Hitler you can win Passchendaele
Again if you commit suicide.

I laughed when the first pebble was cast upon me
By my own apostle, who didn’t knew
That he’s the “Chosen One.”

Taboo

Taboo

I meant to ask You, O Moon, ages ago,
Why had You Wept black Tears that still shadow Your ethereal Beauty?
But my finger was stopping me from speaking,
Lest the secret police of the gods condemn You to gaol called Pluto's Oval Orbit.
Then in a Nebula outside my home, I heard a new-born baby crying,
While gods leapt to comfort her, I SOSed to an asteroid with a flash torch.
It hit me back with quasar!
My brother [from another planet] needed the knowledge of how humans are born,
So he kidnapped her while they were eating sleeping pills.
When You made the darkness visible, I couldn't suffer the beauty of them.
They were so innocent that horn of a small car made them running for cover,
But I didn't knew that they were planning a carefully designed accident
To crush the driver, and, indeed, all naysayers.
As I was losing my courage,
My brother told me, you need Her, to create a star of your own.
I chuckled, I'm Earth condemned to revolve without Sun,
She's Moon, Who doesn't know how to accept gift of Love,
How can we nurture life?
He said, ask Her why She gaze you with Her dreamy Eyes every night whether you see Her or not.
She makes water of your oceans rise and fall ceaselessly;
She makes vampires thirty and werewolves hungry;
She makes phones ringing in every emergency center
For criminals loses their minds after they see their faces in Her Shine –
All this to get your attention, to wake you and stupid Cupid from deep slumber;
To be caressed by your broken figure;
To be loved by your stigmatic core;
To be hidden in your inner magma;
To be held by your surreal scaffold;
To be possessed by your demon lord;
To be blazed by your wild fire;
To be satiated by your green lakes;
And to be completed by your eternal completion.
Go, and don't look back
Or you'll become a laughter unleashed at a soirée.

Ode to Life

Ode to Life

See, I bit life and life “bytes” me back;
I live in an electric green room full of 0s and 1s,
Where electricity dances like Wordsworth’s Daffodils;
I crave for the gray world of movies and TV;
To act like novice on stage, and to break into a “corpse”
I sit tightly in front of static signals to look for reminisces of Big Bang;
While I try to fine tune my analogue signals,
And to teleport QWERTY over Wi-Fi,
I play with myself: I kick football and pitch baseball onto bleeding walls;
I read the same sentence –
Which the Judge handed over to me through Orwellian tube –
From a blasphemous book over and over (and all);
I weep in the arms of digits, ISO letters and useless stats;
I salute flags, even of our sworn enemies;
I collect news clippings just to throw them into fire;
I empty and fill caskets with water;
I rearrange my room until everything is left broken;
I write extravagant worlds which mean nothing;
Far away my hell awaits me ‘With Arms Wide Open’,
For how great a life would be if one’s only noteworthy possession is a 100 Lira coin!

A Medley of International Current Affairs and Delusions of Reference, Part II

A Medley of International Current Affairs and Delusions of Reference, Part II

After I cease to exist:
My feet would make no prints on water;
My answers won’t be questioned;
My smiles would no longer be feared;
My dark side won’t come into light;
My ancestors would not be called into disrepute;
My windshield would not stop me from breathing;
My chessmen would no longer be set according to governing rules;
My sister would not have a role model to hide;
My Love would not be my bride;
My glass won’t be full of untouched vintage champagne;
My hands would not stretch towards a whistling cobra;
My karate lessons would not be used to make daring ones spit blood;
My eyes would no longer be out of their sockets to reveal tiny veins of lifeless formation;
My death day would be same as my birthday:
When I broke the Reds and split the Balkans,
When I cracked the Berlin Wall,
When I made them won world cups in a quartet of sports,
When I ordered, ‘Bryan, lend your voice to Robin!’

How to Find Soil in the Water?

How to Find Soil in the Water?

A forgotten trailer horns on the roadside
To tell the fortune teller that his last breath would soon vanish in ether;
A lost child is stroking a half burned tire with a dead man’s cane;
Fire fighters are throwing rusty leaves on a cat they've just killed;
My Owner has called an ambulance for the limping paramedic
Who has been performing CPR on me;
The false prophet is making us believe that moon has a gay radiance about her.
(Then…)
The examiner asked, ‘which of the above is ethically incorrect?’
I bluntly replied, ‘no one owns anybody!’
An amazed look in his cold eyes displayed that I've committed the worst irony known to “man-kind”.
Without looking at me he F’d me.

Owl has awakened

Owl has awakened

A small bat has just flown past the full moon,
A stray dog has been barking at a James’ ghost,
A fearless jackal has slew my neighbor’s rooster,
And black cat’s eyes shone in the deadly darkness.
(In other news,)
Vampires are miserably searching for us,
They’re biting each other for fun,
‘Kids’, they whisper, ‘that’s how it’s done.’
The eldest one cry in hollow voice, ‘we’re different,
‘(Let’s be, Amen!)’
Through the trees they’d eventually find us;
Cut our throats, drink our blood,
And dance beside our dead bodies
‘Til we wake up and join the fraternity to search for our first kill.
And before we know it,
Werewolves would be swarming from everywhere to end the cycle (of death).

Vision

Vision

My bleeding fingers touched the Tips of Her slender Fingers;
My tearful eyes looked inside Her green Eyes;
My trembling lips hesitantly kissed Her rosy Lips;
My fuzzy hair gently brushed against Her silky Hair;
My feeble arms embraced Her for the longest time possible;
But, at last, I had to say goodbye to Her picturesque Apparition
In the sullen old mirror of a dressing table,
For I couldn't bid farewell to Her in reality.

Duress: Death-blow to a Self-created Demon

Duress: Death-blow to a Self-created Demon

I’m a moth, flying
In the dark to the edge of Universe,
Where another Big Bang is awaiting to let fall curtains
Over a trillion years old “Tragedy of Errors”
My belief in the happy ending is still unyielding,
But my clear monochrome direction
Is praised by Atheists even,
To the point whereupon I started
To have doubts on my Puppet Show’s raison d’être
From the Vantage Point I felt
A certain desire to address
A final “State of the Uni-verse”
For the benefit of my truly frightened ones:
Perhaps, an abstract promise of unfathomable Paradise;
Or, visibly fake hopes of an ultimate status quo
In the end (of the new beginnings.)

Tick, Tick, Tick

Tick, Tick, Tick: [...]

My will has made
            God a rubber-stamp
My darkness has swallowed
            Black holes’ light
My death was mourned
            In red-dressed bugs
My laughter was choked
            Some centuries ago
My rhyme is completed
            After the Triangle lost in HMS []
My dirt is cleaned
            When ink faded from my hands
My hunger was struck
            By a handsome pitcher
My love was ended
            On the vivisection table
My eye was blinded
            By the monocle of self pity
My clock has stopped
            Tick, tick, tick!

Hara-kiri

Hara-kiri

In a city
Committing suicide
I pledged
We would always remain Lovers
I closed my eyes
And jumped off the cliff
Flying through clouds
Feeling the wind
Upon my face
I splashed against pond’s water
Like a tiny raindrop
She was sitting there
In a green dress
Matching the shamrock fields
Where war veterans were buried
Without a trace
She came to me
Kissed me
And killed me with the hidden dagger
I disappeared

Vogue: Vague and Vivid

Vogue: Vague and Vivid

Vikings hushed the wolf god
To see the Sun came out
Of his shadowy quagmire

Velvet over silk-body
Honey on rosy-lips
Bore the reason of coffin maker’s death

Vendetta was fulfilled
When water of Red Sea
Changed into blood with vengeance

Velocity changed into ‘Love City’
When I tried to get inside
With accelerated speed I was thrown back

Valance of steel
Between Her Visage and my eyes
Through which I cannot peer

Vagabond space traveler landed
On a barren Earth, 'At last,' he sighed,
'Earth and Moon have collided as they wished'

Vanguard offered armistice
Whilst king was sleeping
And generals were drinking vodka

Vigilante on vigil
To find himself inside vertigo
And outside Shadows and Fog

Blackouts and Fireflies

Blackouts and Fireflies

Fire beaming at my face
Through thick fog of night
When the near most moon
Was unable to display
The horrors one felt
At the roaring of guns

I asked a firefly
To be my guide
To tell me how to show
The righteous path
To my fellows
She blinked and flown away

Damned to live a life of Proletarian
Cursed to look at sky when betrayed
Left to see the dark side of light
Warned to be watched by secret eyes
Harnessed to reap what others sown
Deserted to find our souls in trenches

Where Conifers Rule II: Back to Naught

Where Conifers Rule II: Back to Naught

Upon the Horizons
Where God once Woven
The Tapestry of Universe
I met Thee
The Owner of my Soul
And my Heart

If birds tried to fly
And if men tried to hide
Loneliness was the reason!

The Extra Mile on the Left!

The Extra Mile on the Left!

(Inspired from Divine Comedy’s song ‘Gin Soaked Boy’)
…nest inside sparrow’s chest!
…France inside Paris Heart!
…East inside queer West!
…joker inside his jest!
…revolt inside king’s haste!
…worse inside batter’s best!
…host inside demanding guest!
…jewel inside city’s waste!
…sweet inside bitter taste!
…Love inside Her Hate!
…Ralph inside ‘English Patient’!

Draught is the Destination

Draught is the Destination

I was thrown out
Of my room wrapped
In my beloved quilt

I was told
To marry somebody
I tried
To scare a scarecrow
With a red ribbon
It became alive
And kissed me
My lips were covered
With my blood afterwards
Plague brought by alien bats
(They became pigs on our Earth)
Killed all civilizations
I and old crows were left
To witness
The most horrible dream*
One can imagine!

*the next "Day-mare" was more horrible, I might write a short story about it.

The Journey

The Journey

When a small butterfly asked me
To open the Window
I didn’t

When a man commended me
To open a window
I tried but couldn’t

I wanted to merge
Into a cloud
To fly to Her
Like a bird

A railway track lost in nothingness
A road going nowhere

To find one self
One has to burn at stake
To think about your loved ones
Is like pondering inside lake
After losing sun to mountains
One becomes wide awake

Where Conifers Rule

Where Conifers Rule

If mirrors weren't exposing my Soul
I would have wept

While a lonely cloud was running away
I asked mountains
To be my protectors
And to tell God
That I do Love Her

As if people were killed here
The mud was turned red

I saw through my sleepy eyes
An old man carrying funnel
I lost my footings
And fell into a tavern

While vultures craved for eagle’s prey
Hideous thought were over coming day dreams

I found utmost tranquility
In No Man’s Land

Metamorphosis

Metamorphosis

Life was hell?
No, but the reason it was alive made it hell

If a raindrop could have been searched
In all of ocean water
The search itself would be ridiculed

When Love could be changed into hate
Why, then, hate could not be turned into Love?
Alas! I spent my life in chasing
A dream, dreamt by others
And loved someone
Who could not be mine!

If I can change what I have
Nothing would have demoralized my Soul
In the Search of my Soul-Mate

When Jupiter’s Sign was worshipped by doctors instead of him
He lost his temper and cured all the patients himself

When Death was cheated
He made their life worse than Hell
They cried for him to come
But he turned acid into water!

If I was a Girl

If I was a Girl

(For Pandora)
My brush-stroke innocence would have made people forget Mona Lisa,
My sleepy eyes would have made riders fall of their horses,
My intoxicating body would have killed warriors in Troy,
My smile would have marred the life of Anthony,
My finger tips would have created a new form of music,
And Zeus and Hercules would have fought over me,
For my beauty Edward would have abdicated his throne,
On my wish Genghis would have speared Baghdad,
Upon seeing me in the arms of slave,
King Shahryār would have killed himself,
I would have broken Joseph’s oath of virginity,
Michelangelo would have created only my sculptures,
Keats would have only written for me,
I wish I was a girl who plays with fire and loves ice!
